Mario Kliesch (born August 22, 1963 ) is a former rower in the GDR.

Kliesch started for SC Berlin-Grünau and won the bronze medal at the 1986 World Championships with Dirk Rendant in a pair without a helmsman and the silver medal in the eighth at the 1987 World Championships in Denmark and 1989 in Yugoslavia. In the later years he started in the ambitious field for the rowing club Hansa from 1898 from Dortmund and later for the rowing club Hamm from 1890 . At the World Rowing Masters Regatta  Kliesch u. A. In Munich in 1998, he won a gold medal in age group eight.

Kliesch has been working on the subject of cables as a speaker and specialist book author for years .
