Mark von Laer

Mark von Laer (born January 9, 1969 ) is a German engineer and a member of the board of directors of Andritz AG .

Live and act

Mark von Laer studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig and graduated in 1996 with a degree in engineering. He then graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. In Braunschweig he became a member of Corps Teutonia-Hercynia Braunschweig . After his first professional positions at Preussag and Salzgitter , he was in the management of the Lurgi Group until 2008, in the Kraftanlagen Group in Munich (until 2014) and at Lürssen Werft GmbH & Co. KG. He has been a member of the Board of Management of Andritz AG since 2017 .
