Market fruit

Market crops are fruit , vegetable or grain products which are usually grown in so-called market crops for the production of food by agricultural or horticultural businesses . They are sold as food within a market.

The opposite term is forage plants that are grown in the so-called forage production .

We speak of a market fruit farm if it generates more than 50% of the operating income through the sale of market fruit.
