Markus Göbel

Markus Göbel (* 1965 ) is a German economist.

Life

From 1988 to 1994 he studied economics at the University of Wuppertal . From 1994 to 1998 he was a doctoral scholarship holder at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer . From 1998 to 1999 he was a consultant at KGSt consult GmbH Kommunalberatung in Cologne . From 1999 to 2001 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Research into Social Opportunities (ISO). From 2001 to 2007 he was a research assistant at the chair for business administration, especially organizational theory at the Helmut Schmidt University . From 2007 to 2009 he was a professor for public economics at the University of Hamburg . From 2009 to 2012 he taught as a professor of business administration and academic director (vice dean) at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences . Since 2012 he has been a professor of business administration, in particular corporate management and theory, at the Helmut Schmidt University.

His research interests are organizational and corporate theories, new public management, strategic management, cross-sector partnerships, and the management of organizational cooperation.
