March on Bern

March on Bern refers to the following demonstrations in Switzerland

  • 1937 the move of the National Front through downtown Bern, see March on Bern (1937)
  • March 1, 1969: Demonstration of around 5,000 women and men, led by Emilie Lieberherr , on the Bundesplatz in Bern, which finally helped women's suffrage to break through (→  women's suffrage in Switzerland ).
  • 2007: The name of the political opponents for a planned large-scale demonstration by the Swiss People's Party, see riots in Bern 2007
