March sketch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The march sketch is a form of the route description required by DV 100 for the marching order for the motor vehicle march in disaster control.

In the march sketch , the intersections to be passed, roads to be traveled, distances and important landmarks are listed in a straight line. The representation is neither true to scale nor true to angle. The march sketch resembles thus in their view the network map of local transport. Driving after such a march sketch is more like working through a checklist than orienting yourself on a normal map.
