María Salerno

María Salerno (also Marta Monterrey ; born February 14, 1948 in León ) is a Spanish actress .

Life

Salerno began her career in the late 1960s under the stage name Marta Monterrey in Spaghetti Western and a horror film . In the middle of the following decade she turned to the erotic film and was, now under her birth name, successful in around twenty films of the genre in her home country. Salerno was also seen in more well-behaved roles like in the telenovela Un, dos, tres… responda otra vez . She opened up other audiences in the early 1970s through her speaking work for the radio; she was heard in more than 500 episodes of the soap Simplemente María . Salerno ended her career in the mid-1980s.
