Masaomi Kanzaki

Masaomi Kanzaki ( Japanese 神 崎 将 臣 Kanzaki Masaomi ; * August 17, 1964 ) is a Japanese mangaka .

He made his debut as an illustrator in 1985 after receiving an award for young mangaka. He gained international fame through the action series Xenon , which was one of the first manga to be translated into English.

In Germany, 4 issues of the Street Fighter II series , an adaptation of the computer game of the same name , were published by Bastei Verlag from 1994 onwards. Shortly afterwards, Carlsen Verlag published the Xenon series in 7 volumes. In 2002 Panini published the same story in four paperbacks as Bio Diver Xenon, then in Japanese reading direction , as did the Hagane series , which appeared in 16 paperbacks from 2003 to 2005.
