The Maschinenfabrik Liezen and foundry GmbH (MFL) is a metal-working operation in Liezen . It is considered an important industrial location in the Styrian Ennstal .
The plant was founded in 1939 under the name "Schmidhütte Liezen" and has had different names over the years; among other things it belonged to the United Austrian Steelworks (VOEST) . The work became known through the Noricum scandal .

The managing directors of the MFL are Reinhard Haider and Herbert Decker.
