The Master System III Compact from Tectoy is a variant of the stationary 8-bit game console Sega Master System from Sega .

After the Master System was practically dead in Europe and other important markets in the early 1990s, the Brazilian distributor Tectoy took over the further production. Here the Master System III is developed and published exclusively in Brazil. The 20em1 card is included with the Master System III. This is followed by the master system 3 Collection 74, Collection 105 and Collection 112, the number standing for the games implemented in the ROM . These games will be translated into Portuguese and partially reprogrammed for the Brazilian market. The only in-house development is Virtua Fighter . This is followed by the Master System Super Compact, the Super Compact Girl and the Master System Handy. This Master System Handy does not have its own module slot, but uses the 27 games stored in the ROM, among others. a. the previously unpublished Woody Woodpecker . Some special editions of the Master System III appear, including a. the edition for the soccer world championship 1994 with Super Futebol 2. The games that are being reissued or published by Tectoy for the Master System III include Ecco - The Tides of Time , Mortal Kombat 3 , Mickey-Ultimate Challenge , FIFA International Soccer , Virtua Fighter and Dynamite Headdy , as well as many older games such as Wonder Boy and Alex Kidd .
