Mathías López , full name Fernando Mathías López Beltrame , (born August 2, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall midfielder López played in youth football in 2008 in the Septima División for Club Atlético Peñarol . He later moved to El Tanque Sisley . There he was a member of the team in the Quinta División in 2010 and 2011. In 2011 he was also a member of the team in the Tercera División, for which he has been active since at least 2014. In 2015 he was promoted to the first team of the first division. He made his debut in the Primera División in the Apertura 2015 on August 22, 2015 in a 2-2 draw in the away game against Peñarol, when he was substituted on by coach Julio César Antúnez in the 68th minute for Facundo Moreira . In the 2015/16 season he played 18 first division matches (no goal).
