The District Court of Wasserburg am Inn was a district court that existed from 1879 to 2013 and was based in Wasserburg am Inn . Most recently it was a branch of the Rosenheim District Court .

history

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a local court was set up in Wasserburg am Inn, the district of which remained unchanged in relation to the previous district court . With the territorial reform of 1971/1972, the district court was attached to the Rosenheim district court as a branch. On May 31, 2013, the Wasserburg am Inn branch was officially closed.

The court was located at Marienplatz 7. The former patrician house (so-called core house) was the town judge's house from 1795, now the courthouse (no. 7) and hotel-inn (no. 9). The four-storey building with late medieval ground floor arbors (No. 7), the facade with four flat cores and Rococo stucco, rebuilt by Johann Baptist Zimmermann , 1738/1740, No. 7 1965/1968.
