Rosenheim District Court
The Rosenheim District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of 73 district courts in Bavaria . The two main buildings are located at Bismarckstrasse 1 and Rathausstrasse. 32 in Rosenheim . Until May 31, 2013, the court still had branches at Marienplatz 7 in Wasserburg am Inn and Am Hofberg 5 in Bad Aibling . The latter has been a branch office since then, in which the proceedings on foreclosures and foreclosures are processed.
History of the Rosenheim District Court
The judiciary in Rosenheim was first mentioned in 1273 with the judge Chunradus Churnheimer. After the Counts of Wasserburg lost their rule to the Wittelsbachers , they appointed a judicial officer who, among other things, spoke the law. In 1799, the old nursing court was dissolved, in its place a provisional district court came, which, however, was repealed in the course of a court reorganization and the district was added to the district court Bad Aibling. In 1807 there was a further restructuring of the judicial districts. The districts of Fischbach and Aibling were combined and the seat of the court was relocated to Rosenheim, in the so-called "Haus am Platz".
In 1879 it was renamed the District Court. The former courthouse on Königsstraße was given an annex around 1900 and expanded to Bismarckstraße in 1933/1934. As a result of the regional reform of 1972 , the independent district courts of Bad Aibling and Wasserburg were incorporated as branches in the Rosenheim district court. On June 1, 2013, both were dissolved, and the Bad Aibling branch has been a branch since then.
