The District Court Tittmoning was from 1879 to 1930 existing District Court , based in the city of Tittmoning .

history

Tittmoning was developed as a former Salzburg city with the seat of a nursing court against the Bavarian cities Burghausen and Neuötting and only came provisionally in 1810 and finally in 1816 after the Congress of Vienna together with the " Rupertiwinkel ".

The " Regional Court of the Elderly Order " located in Tittmoning was a state administrative unit of the lower level in Bavaria until 1862, with administrative tasks similar to those of today's rural districts . From 1862 onwards, with the creation of the district offices, the Tittmoning district court was only responsible for jurisdiction.

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was set up in Tittmoning, the district of which was formed from the previous district court district of Tittmoning with the exception of two localities that were transferred to the Trostberg district court . Asten , Freutsmoos , Fridolfing , Kay , Kirchheim , Palling , Pietling , Tengling , Tettenhausen , Tittmoning, Törring and Tyrlaching thus belonged to the district of the Tittmoning District Court . The next higher instance was the Traunstein Regional Court . With effect from January 1, 1931, the Tittmoning district court was repealed and its district was merged with the district of the Laufen district court .

Official building

The building of the former local court, a stately three-story corner building, is located at Stadtplatz 2 a – 2 b. The monument, which consists of two parts of the building with a shared classical facade and a flat hipped roof, is still partly medieval in its core, probably 13th / 14th. Century, the remaining parts were built in the late 16th and 19th centuries.
