The Bad Reichenhall District Court (until 1890 Reichenhall District Court ) was a district court that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Bad Reichenhall .

history

Reichenhall already had a regional court and nursing court in the Duchy of Bavaria . In 1802 the so-called regional courts older order were set up in Bavaria , including the regional court Reichenhall . In 1862 there was a major administrative restructuring, after which the administrative tasks of the Berchtesgaden and Reichenhall regional courts were transferred to the Berchtesgaden district office . The remaining institutions for the administration of justice of the two former regional courts have since been administered for their respective areas by the Berchtesgaden District Court and under the previous name of the “Reichenhall District Court”, which only became part of the Reichenhall District Court on October 1, 1879 when the Courts Constitution Act was introduced (from 1890 in “ Bad Reichenhall District Court ”) was renamed. Its area corresponded unchanged to that of the regional court Reichenhall and included the communities Aufham , Bayerisch Gmain , Högl , Jettenberg , Karlstein , Marzoll , Piding , (Bad) Reichenhall, Ristfeucht , Stoißberg , Weißbach and Sankt Zeno .

The community of Sankt Zeno was incorporated into Bad Reichenhall in 1905. Jettenberg and Ristfeucht formed the community of Schneizlreuth from July 1, 1909, and the community of Stoißberg was renamed Anger in 1937.

When the law on the organization of the ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria came into force on July 1, 1973, the Bad Reichenhall District Court was repealed and incorporated into the district of the Laufen District Court .

The next higher instance for the region mentioned here was and has been the Traunstein Regional Court since 1879 .
