Ristfeucht is a district and a district of the municipality of Schneizlreuth in the district of Berchtesgadener Land and was an independent municipality until 1909.

It is located on the B 21 just before the border with the Salzburger Pinzgau in Austria . Ristfeucht can only be reached via the B 21 and the Melleck district .

The village of Ristfeucht had a population of 70 at the census on May 25, 1987. Together with the other districts of Fronau (92), Kibling (12), Melleck (76), Schneizlreuth (54) and Ulrichsholz that belonged to the former municipality and today's district of Ristfeucht (41) resulted in a population of 345.

history

Ristfeucht was one of the two communities from which the community Schneizlreuth was formed on July 1, 1909 (the second was Jettenberg with the districts Oberjettenberg and Unterjettenberg ).
