District court of Traunstein
The District Court of Traunstein is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of 73 district courts in Bavaria . The seat of the court is in Herzog-Otto-Str. 1 in Traunstein .
history
1879 by the German Gerichtsverfassungsgesetz the former (older order) Country Court Traunstein converted to the district court Traunstein. At the same time, according to the Courts Constitution Act, the Traunstein Regional Court was newly established as the higher instance for the local courts assigned to it.
Area of responsibility
The district court district covers the entire district of Traunstein , in which around 170,000 people live and which, with 1,533.95 square kilometers, is the second largest district in Bavaria. In bankruptcy proceedings , foreclosure and sequestration of land, the jurisdiction also covered the district Berchtesgaden .
In the register of associations - commercial register -, partnership register - and cooperative register matters , the Traunstein District Court is also responsible for the districts of Altötting , Berchtesgadener Land, Mühldorf am Inn and Rosenheim .
Superior courts
The District Court of Traunstein and the Higher Regional Court of Munich are superordinate to the District Court of Traunstein .
