The District Court Burghausen was from 1879 to 2006, existing District Court based in Burghausen . It had been a branch of the Altötting District Court since 1973 .

history

Burghausen was the seat of one of the 4 rent offices of the Duchy of Bavaria . In 1779 Burghausen became a border town with the loss of the Innviertel as a hinterland. In 1803 during the administrative reorganization of Bavaria , the district court Burghausen built. Although it belongs to the Altötting district office , the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879 saw the establishment of a district court in Burghausen. This district court, which is for Burghausen and the communities in the surrounding area ( Burgkirchen an der Alz , Dorfen , Feichten an der Alz , Gufflham, Haiming , Halsbach , Kirchweidach , Mehring , Neukirchen an der Alz , Oberzeitlarn , Piesing , Raitenhaslach , Schützing and Wald an der Alz ) was abolished in 1973 and declared a branch of the Altötting District Court. The higher-level instances were the Traunstein Regional Court and the Munich Higher Regional Court . The court was housed in today's college building of the Kurfürst-Maximilian-Gymnasium until 1959 and then until 2006 in the Taufkirchen-Palais on the town square of Burghausen. The branch was closed in 2006.
