Maurice Cummins

Maurice Cummins (born February 25, 1953 in Waterford ) is an Irish politician and since 2002 Senator in the Seanad Éireann , whose Leader of the Seanad he has been since May 2011.

Cummins was first elected to the Seanad Éireann in 2002 for the Fine Gael . His election took place here in the field of labor (Labor Panel). In the elections for the 23rd Seanad Éireann, he was able to defend his mandate.

Prior to his career as a Senator, Cummins was active on the city council of his native city and served as mayor during that time in 1995/1996.
