- The genus of mouse spiders ( Scotophaeus ) within the family of flat-bellied spiders (Gnaphosidae).
- The small mouse spider ( S. blackwalli ), species within this genus.
In the subordination of the tarantula-like (Mygalomorphae):
- The little redhead mouse spider ( Missulena occatoria ), species within the family Actinopodidae .
