The county Cheongsong ( kor. : 청송군 , Cheongsong-gun ) is located in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are located in Cheongsong-eup City. The district had an area of 846 km² and a population of 25,623 inhabitants in 2019.
Cheongsong is known among Koreans for its apples. Cheongsong apples made up a large percentage of apples consumed in both Korea and Seoul. Another famous Cheongsong product is the Cheongyang Pepper, a Korean hot chili .
The Juwangsan National Park is located here.
