Max Auwärter Prize

The Max Auwärter Prize is a physics prize awarded every two years by the Max Auwärter Foundation in Balzers .

The prize is endowed with 10,000 euros and is awarded to people up to the age of 35 who have published significant scientific work in the fields of surface physics, interface chemistry and inorganic and organic thin layers as the sole authors.

The Austrian Society for Vacuum Technology also awards a Max Auwärter Prize .
