Max Kaltenmark
Max Kaltenmark (1910-2002) was a French sinologist . He specialized in Daoism . He was director of studies at the École pratique des hautes études . In 1946 he was appointed director of the Center Franco-Chinois d'Études sinologiques de Pékin (Beijing).
The Liexian zhuan列 仙 传 (Biographies of Immortals) was translated into French by him.
