Maxeen was a three- piece rock band from Long Beach, California (USA), most recently consisting of Tom Bailey (vocals or bass), Robb Torres (guitar) and Jay Skowronek (drums). The former founding member Shannon McMurray, former guitarist, left the band in 2006 to pursue other career goals. On March 13, 2008, drummer Jay Skowronek announced on Maxeen's MySpace profile page that he was leaving the band - shortly afterwards the band broke up.
The band released their first album called "Maxeen" in 2003 under the label SideOneDummy Records on an "Enhanced CD", which included 12 tracks and a photo series. In 2004 the band signed a record deal with Warner Bros Records and produced their second album, "Hello Echo", which was never released in regular stores, it is only available on music platforms such as iTunes. Due to the failed release of the second album, the band ended their contract with Warner Bros Records in 2007.
