The Mayan Astronomers are a semi-professional Mexican ice hockey club in Mexico City that was founded in 2010 and plays in the Mexicana Elite League.
history
The Mayan Astronomers took up the 2010/11 season as a founding member of the game operations in the first ever Mexicana Elite League . In its premiere season, the team took first place in the main round. Therefore, the team was directly qualified for the playoff final, in which they lost the Teotihuacan Priests in the best-of-three series with 1: 2 wins.
The team name and the club logo are based on the Mayan astronomers .
