Mazdak
Mazdak ( Persian مزدکdied in 524 or 528) was a Zoroastrian priest and reformer in the late antiquity of Persia. He worked during the reign of the Sassanid king Kavadh I and was thus the founder of the Mazdakites . His teaching was influenced by the religious founder Mani , who had lived 300 years before and is considered a socialist and vegetarian . He was executed on the orders of Chosrau I and his followers were massacred at the same time.
