Mazhang
Mazhang ( 麻 章 区 , Mázhāng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Zhanjiang in the Chinese province of Guangdong . Mazhang has an area of 769 square kilometers and in 2015 had a population of 271,500.

At the end of 2015 there were 271,500 people in Mazhang, of whom 107,300 were urban residents (39.52%) and 164,200 rural residents (60.48%). However, at the same time, 295,979 people were registered in 70,073 households in Mazhang. The registered population consists of 155 952 men (52.7%) and 140 027 (47.3%) women. The resident population increased from 202,600 in 1991 to 271,500 in 2016; in 2015 the birth rate was 12.6 ‰, the death rate was 5.06 ‰ and the natural population growth was 7.54 ‰.
