Mbeya range
The Mbeya Range is part of the southern highlands of Tanzania north of the city of Mbeya . Its highest point is Mount Mbeya with 2,834 m. Opposite it is the mountain range of the Poroto Mountains . The main traffic arteries between East and South Africa, the TAZARA railway line and the Tanzam Highway run in the 1,600 m high valley between them . It is one of the most densely populated areas of Tanzania.
