Medal from 1807

The 1807 medal was a Russian military merit award. It was donated by Tsar Alexander I.

Officers and soldiers of the Landwehr, which was dissolved in September 1807, were honored.

Order classes

Officers received the gold award, soldiers only one in silver.

Ribbon

The difference between active and passive fighters could be seen on the ribbon . The former wore the decoration on the orange and black striped ribbon of the Order of St. George , the passive on the dark red ribbon with black stripes on both sides of the Order of Vladimir .
