Medio (banking)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Medio ( lat. Medius : "located in the middle") refers to the middle of the month in banking (the 15th of the month).

The Medio is relevant in reporting (internal reports) and in reporting (reports to the banking supervisory authority on the situation of the bank) as well as in forward transactions , as these are liquidated on the Medio in some countries.

Much better known is the term Ultimo , which describes the end of the month.
