European Medium Term Note

European Medium Term Notes ( EMTN , also Euro Medium Term Notes ) is a collection (a "basket") of medium-term debt securities.

As part of a so-called EMTN program , a kind of framework agreement between companies and bond dealers (mostly banks), companies are enabled to issue securities on the European and Asian capital markets for the flexible procurement of debt capital within a very short time. The duration, currency and the construction of the individual programs can vary considerably. Both standard bonds and floaters with variable interest rates are possible here .
