The hectic are an Austrian cabaret group .
history
The group was founded in 1981 by Mini Bydlinski , Wolfgang Fifi Pissecker , Florian Scheuba and Werner Sobotka . At that time, all four were students at the Bundesgymnasium and Bundesrealgymnasium Franz-Keim-Gasse in Mödling .
In October 1986 they started their first Austrian tour after only staging their first plays in Viennese theaters. From 1987 to 1989, Heinz Marecek directed three of the group's cabaret pieces, with the hectic people setting a new record in 1989 with the program of God's measured children : 18,000 visitors in Vienna, 20,000 in the Austrian federal states.
For the program Nackt! the hectic people receive the golden ticket for 100,000 visitors . Directed by Alexander Goebel . Thank you, dear hectic people, followed in 1992 with more than 40,000 visitors to Vienna. Her first LP, released in 1991, finally became Austria's best-selling cabaret LP. In the same year, the hectic people had their first appearances in Munich. Since 1993, they have also appeared increasingly in Austrian and German TV shows.
In 1994, Mini Bydlinski left the group to advance his solo career. He was replaced by the musical actor Viktor Gernot .
From 1996 to 1999 the TV broadcaster ORF broadcast the comedy series The Sick Sisters , in which the hectic people contributed the script and direction and also participated as actors. In 1996 and 1998 the series received nominations for the Golden Rose of Montreux . In 1997 she was awarded the Romy TV Prize. At the 1998 New York Television Festival , the series won an award in the TV Comedy category.
From November 2006 to 2007 they were last seen with the anniversary program 25 Years Die Hectiker - Silver Wedding at the Simpl cabaret in Vienna . This piece offers a cabaret jam session with the best scenes and anecdotes from 25 hectic years.
The hectic are the most successful cabaret group in Austria. They played their 14 programs with a total of 2500 appearances in mostly sold-out theaters in Vienna and on tours throughout Austria and Germany.
All members have had successful solo careers for years and are constantly working together. In January 2009 the first solo cabaret by Wolfgang Pissecker I know you! - Who are you? Experiences from the Way of St. James , directed by Werner Sobotka.
