As Medulloepithelioma a very rare malignant formerly brain tumor called, occurs particularly in young children. Neuropathologically , the formation of cell cords is characteristic, the appearance of which is reminiscent of the histological picture of the neural tube . Due to the molecular similarity, medulloepitheliomas are now seen as part of the morphological spectrum of the embryonic tumor with multi-row rosettes (ETMR, grade IV WHO) and classified as ETMR according to the current WHO classification.
