Multi-level class

A multi-level class is a school class in which children from different school levels are taught together by one teacher. Originally, this was the form of teaching used in smaller communities with a small number of students. These classes were organized as departmental lessons. Nowadays, the multi-level class is very popular, even in larger metropolitan areas like Vienna. The Viennese reform pedagogical multi-level classes have existed in Vienna since 1997. A combination with integration classes is possible and is also used. In order to be able to handle the lessons of children of different stages of development in everyday school life, so-called free work is an option . In any case, today's multi-level classes show methodical characteristics of reform pedagogy .
