Flying Brick is the unofficial name for BMW motorcycles (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) of the K-model series from 1983 to 2009.

The BMW motorcycles of the K series were given the name "Flying Brick" because of the inline engine with three or four cylinders, which is installed lengthways to the direction of travel and inclined 90 degrees to the left (horizontally), whose appearance when driving past quickly and looking at a " flying brick ”. Sometimes the "Flying Brick" are also somewhat disparagingly referred to as "toasters".
