My dream job - The Chance of my Life is a German documentary soap that is broadcast by RTL II . The first broadcast was in 2015. The docu-soap is about three applicants who have applied for a position or apprenticeship and then have to prove their skills to the boss in various tasks. The show is an offshoot of the show “ Your chance! 3 applicants - 1 job ” , which ran on ProSieben from 2007 to 2009 .

In the program, three job seekers are accompanied on two trial working days who are fighting for their dream job. Applicants have to show their technical talent, their ability to work in a team and their behavior in stressful situations in five tasks. The tasks are set by the possible new boss and carried out under his supervision. Before the last job, the weakest applicant is eliminated.
