mein apotheke , or mea for short , is the umbrella brand of a German pharmacy cooperative . The brand is owned by Sanacorp Pharmahandel GmbH based in Planegg near Munich.
The association, which was founded in 2004, has around 2,000 legally independent pharmacies (as of 2008), making “my pharmacy” one of the largest German pharmacy cooperations. The support of the affiliated pharmacies extends to the areas of discounted purchases, sales support and training.
