Master with cancer

As a champion with cancer one is engraver called, probably in the 1530s Netherlands worked. The engravings attributed to him there is often a crab or cancer .

It is believed that he could be Francois Crabetli or Frans Crabbe from Mechelen. Stylistically, the master with the cancer is close to the way Quentin Matsys worked , and it is believed to be able to recognize an influence of Lucas van Leyden , for example in one of his engravings with the depiction of the beheading of John the Baptist.
