Meisterbock

The Meisterbock is a test tool used in quality assurance in automotive engineering. This is an aluminum frame on which parts or even the entire vehicle are built during the pre-series phase in order to be able to assess the interaction of parts from different suppliers with regard to optics, haptics, gap dimensions , assemblability, etc.

The origin of the term is unknown. The term is widely used at Volkswagen.
