Mekyberna

Mekyberna was an ancient city in Chalkidike in northern Greece , which was on the shores of the Toronean Gulf .

The city was first mentioned at the end of the 6th century BC. After the end of the Persian Wars around 479 BC BC Mekyberna was a member of the Attic League with Athens as the hegemon .
