Bronchopericardiaca membrane

The membrana bronchopericardiaca (Syn. Membrana von Hayek ) is a frontal plate of connective tissue behind the heart . It connects the heart via the pericardial sac (pericardium) with the bifurcation of the main bronchi , and with the top Zwerchfellfaszie . The bronchopericardiaca membrane provides elastic anchoring of the pericardium with the diaphragm and the trachea .
