Memphis is mainly in Austria sold cigarette brand . It is manufactured and sold by Austria Tabak AG , a subsidiary of JTI.

The first Memphis brand cigarettes were introduced in Austria in 1969. However, their beginnings go back to the beginning of the 20th century. The name symbolized the origin of the types of tobacco used in Egypt . The brand has been the market leader in Austria since 1989. This prompted Austria Tabak to steadily expand the Memphis product range:
