Menstrual extraction

Menstrual extraction is a form of vacuum aspiration that is used to evacuate the uterus through suction. Unlike other forms of vacuum suction, it is used as a way to go through your entire menstrual cycle at once and was a way to have an abortion without needing medical attention or legal permission. In some countries where abortion is illegal, such as Bangladesh, the terms "menstrual regulation" or "menstrual extraction" are used as euphemisms for abortion. It was practiced in the United States from 1970 to 1975, and at least until the 1990s in Bangladesh. In the United States, the use of Roe v. Calf off. Since the 2010s, the use of menstrual extraction has increased in the United States due to a decreasing availability of physician-performed abortions.
