Metathesis reaction
A metathesis reaction is understood to mean various exchange reactions in chemistry:
- Salt metathesis - the exchange of different ions in salts with one another
- Alkene metathesis - the change of residues between two olefins (alkenes)
- Alkyne metathesis - the change of residues between two alkynes
- A mixed form of alkene and alkyne metathesis reaction
