Meteor ( Météor ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1953 and 1967 .

Professor Spencer is developing an interstellar missile to explore space. The crew includes the pilot Sam Spade and the mechanic Texas. Their travels take them to distant worlds with alien civilizations.

The drawings were from Raoul Giordan . Lortac wrote most of the stories. The spaceman series came out between 1953 and 1967 in the series of the same name published by Artima. The first episodes were republished in Spoutnik . A reprint appeared in Cosmos and Sidéral . The complete edition was by Lefrancq. Titan published the first 22 episodes in the German-speaking area. Hethke summarized this series and reissued the series. The publication of the stories not yet published in German was done by CCH.
