Metin Haboğlu

Metin Haboğlu (born February 24, 1981 in Çorum ) is a Turkish music teacher, singer, songwriter, arranger, and youtuber.

Life

He started his music career when he was 8 years old when his father bought him a "Bağlama". He started school in Çorum and finished it in Erzurum. After completing primary, secondary and high school in his hometown of Çorum, the artist graduated from the Faculty of Music Education at Ataturk University (Erzurum) in 2003.

With the opening of private radios in 1993, he started offering children's programs in Çağrı Fm. In addition to the radio broadcasts, he began to moderate at various events. He was interested in sound and music recording technologies. During his high school years, he formed a musical group and gave concerts in dozens of organizations in the region. In 1998 he was first in singing at the Black Sea Region singing competition.

In 1999 he went to Istanbul and published the tape entitled "Aşk'i Derya", which was produced by Eşref Ziya with the label "Marmara Music". In the same year, 1999, he continued his music education at Ataturk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education Department of Music Education by successfully passing the talent exams of that school. During his university education he continued his stage studies and career in broadcasting. He worked as a program and radio director for the most popular radio stations in the region (Dadaş FM, Bizim Radio).

He began teaching in 2004 in Ankara Çankaya. In addition to his work as a music teacher in educational institutions, he worked for eight years as chairman of the Turkey Musical Group. He has held music education seminars for music teachers and parents in many cities in Turkey. He released a children's music album with his students and gave concerts in cities such as Ankara, İzmir, Adana and Istanbul.

During his apprenticeship he continued his album, stage, radio and television appearances. In 2008 he started making music shows for Dost TV. In 2010 he released his album "Adına Yemin" under the label "Mina Müzik". In 2011 he did Ramadan programs on Beyaz Tv. He gave concerts not only in Turkey, but also abroad at the invitation of various associations and universities in TRNC, Germany, Belgium, Holland, America and Canada.

In 2012 he founded his own music school in Ankara Çankaya. He gave instrumental lessons to dozens of students and prepared many students for conservatory exams at the International Neva School of Music. In the same year he started his postgraduate musicology studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Kırıkkale University.

During his further training he also worked as a director and music director of national and international events and competitions. He prepared the stage shows for the final programs of the organizations "Informatics Culture Formation in Education E-Biko" and "Dream Line". In 2013 he worked as musical advisor to the "World Peace Orchestra" project in America. Hollywood star "Kevin Spacey" introduced the organization, which was held in New York's "Lincoln Center", and many famous actors took part in this organization.

In 2014 he recorded a new album entitled "Gittin Ya-Suskunum".

In 2106, Germany granted Metin Haboglu a residence permit as an "artist".

Metin Haboğlu has been continuing his educational and artistic life in Germany since 2016. Various NGOs in Europe invite him to the organizations of the German-Turkish associations. He continues his stage programs with examples from East-West music synthesis and Turkish music culture. The artist offers various examples by playing the bağlama, oud, ney, kaval, string drum, piano and guitar.

The artist has a music educational institution called "crnmusikhaus" in Germany.

In 2020, Haboğlu's latest album, "Yarım Kaldı", was released on digital platforms.

Metin Haboğlu produces original content for the Youtube channel such as music, education and vlogs. Haboğlu is married and has two children.
