Michel Danino

Michel Danino (born June 4, 1956 near Honfleur , France) is a French author on India . Since 1977 he has lived mainly in India.

He participated in the translation and publication of the works of Sri Aurobindo and the mother. Danino also edited "India's Rebirth" (a selection from Sri Aurobindo's work, first published in 1993) and "India the Mother" (a selection of the mother's works ). He was also committed to the conservation of the tropical rainforest in the Nilgiri Hills. In 2001 he founded the International Forum on India's Heritage (IFIH) with the mission of promoting the core values ​​of Indian heritage in all areas of life.

He spent several years in Auroville , Tamil Nadu. He later lived in the Nilgiri Mountains for two decades. In 2003 he settled near Coimbatore and became an Indian citizen.
