KwaZulu-Natal Midlands
The Midlands , also KwaZulu-Natal Midlands , formerly Natal Midlands , are a region in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal . The Midlands are located between the Drakensberg and Pietermaritzburg .

The Midlands have a mild climate with warm summer months and mild to warm winters. It can also snow in the Drakensberg and their foothills. The average maximum temperature is 28 ° C in summer and 24 ° C in winter. At night, temperatures can drop below zero during the winter months. During the summer (November to March) it can rain heavily and continuously, especially in December and January.
Midlands Meander
