Mike Mayhew

Mike Mayhew (* 1980 ) is a New Zealand painter based in Canterbury , New Zealand. he is one of the stuccoists .

Life and art

Mayhew attended the one-year foundation arts course at Hagley College in Christchurch in 1999 and completed a Bachelor of Design degree from the School of Art and Design at Christchurch Polytechnic from 2000 to 2003 .

In 2006 he was one of the Stuckist artists in The Triumph of Stuckism art exhibition at John Moores University Hope Street Gallery in Liverpool , curated by the painter at the invitation of Colin Fallows , professor at the Liverpool School of Art and Design Naive John . This exhibition was part of the Liverpool Biennale in 2006.
