Mikk Titma

Mikk Titma (born November 2, 1939 in Tallinn , Estonia) is an Estonian sociologist who u. a. worked as a professor at the University of Tartu and is one of the pioneering representatives of the empirical-statistical methods of sociology in the Baltic States . During the Soviet period, Titma was also an active communist, from November 1988 to March 1990 secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Estonia.
